"The boys had a wonderful time at your games camp last week. They are begging to go back for next year's camp. Warrior looks amazing. The girls at your place work very well with him. Your horses are very well cared for and it shows." Colleen (mother of kids that came to summer camp)
"Lindsey has introduced me to the world of natural horsemanship and provided me with many opportunities. She always has confidence in me, even when I doubt my own abilities. She makes me feel that Phin and I can do anything together, and whenever I want to try something new or a little more challenging, the answer is never no -- she helps us work up to our goals, whether it is bridleless riding, jumping higher, or cantering jumps. She has helped me build my relationship with Phin, which is extremely important to me. It's not just about the riding, but about the special relationship between horse and rider. For me there is no greater reward when working with horses than knowing the horse loves and trust you, and Lindsey makes that possible. Not only is Lindsey an outstanding teacher, but an even better friend. I am so glad to have met her and her wonderful horses too. Thank you Lindsey for everything you've done for me so far, I love taking lessons from you and look forward to building my natural horsemanship skills even more." Erin K. (teenager, jumper/trail rider)

"Lindsey is a phenomenal problem solver. I have never seen an equine issue she couldn't fix quickly and with kindness. It's amazing. That's what sold me on Natural Horsemanship". Paige T. (adult jumper)
"Henry and I have been through a lot recently and, just seeing the progress [Lindsey] made with him today made me feel hopeful. And I haven't felt that about Henry for awhile" when writing about her 3 year old gelding that she nearly gave away after she'd given up hope due to his dangerous behaviour. Ann S. (adult dressage rider)
"Lindsey worked with my Paso, Estralita, with amazing results, and I found her to be an excellent trainer, well versed in the way of Natural Horsemanship. She takes a considerate, calm and professional approach. Her manner of teaching is positive and patient. She works to achieve the most from the partnership of both horse and rider through confidence building and problem solving". Patricia M. (adult pleasure rider)
"Natural horsemanship means not only taking the time to connect with the horse but also emphasizing the consistency and feel from the handler. Lindsey shows everyone that she has taught, including myself, how to combine all these techniques to make incredible results! She has shown me that by connecting with the horse and learning how to do some groundwork and in saddle horsemanship that you can accomplish more with your horse then you would if you didn't take the time to involve natural horsemanship. Lindsey has a gift to work with any horse or any problem and make it so the horse and you can connect to fix the problem together. She is an amazing coach that can teach you so many things that you can do to improve your riding skills, your horsemanship, or even just your ability to connect with horses and I am very proud to call her my coach and trainer!" Kristen P. (teenager jumper)
"I feel very privilidged to have Lindsey as a horse friend. She is truly a lovely person and has a wonderful rapport with horses. I have just purchased my mare from Lindsey and must say that she is a true professional. Not only is she kind and gentle with her horses, she is equally patient with her students. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to
connect and develop a long time mutual relationship with a horse!" Alicia M. (adult pleasure rider)
"Lindsey had been referred to me by a friend. I had read a lot of natural horsemanship books, but had a hard time actually making it work when working with my head strong gelding. Watching Lindsey work with him and seeing how well he responded gave me great confidence that he would turn around. At times it would take me an hour to tack up my gelding as he would not stand still and was very badly behaved. After working with Lindsey for just a short time, and learning how to read his body language and use natural horsemanship techniques to communicate, I can now tack up in 5 minutes. She has also helped make huge improvements with his trailering which was a big issue and I think with her continued help my horse will become that quiet, bombproof gelding that I can really trust. Whether taking lessons on the ground or in the saddle working with Lindsey I learn something new every time. For anyone wanting to learn more about communicating with their horse, who has any behaviour or communication issues to work out with their horse, or simply wants to learn more about the very interesting area of natural horsemanship, I would recommend getting in touch with Lindsey!" Brigette R. (adult dressage/hunter)
"I do want to thank you for everything you’ve taught me over the last year. I was nervous riding Bert in the beginning and if it wasn’t for your unique approach I’d probably have given up on him by now. He’s certainly taught me to ride less with my hands and stop pinching with my knees…and of course now I love him!" Valerie O. (adult jumper)
"Hi, I just wanted to tell you, that I think what you do is amazing. Your work is truly outstanding. I thoroughly enjoy reading the horses' rescue stories, and how far they have come. Your insight is inspirational, and I feel I have learned so much just by reading these stories. I just think what you do is remarkable and astonishing! Congratulations with all of your successes!" Claire (adult pleasure rider)
"My husband & I started taking lessons from Lindsey in May, 2011. This is something I've always wanted to do but hadn't had the opportunity. We are both in our early 60's and were concerned that we might be too old :). After researching natural horsemanship in our area (Oshawa), we found Lindsey and we are thrilled.
As I said, this is something I have always wanted to do. It was not something my husband was particularly drawn to do, however he thought it would be nice to do something that I wanted to do as I go sailing which is his passion. He had thought we would "go get on a horse and walk around". He says now that he had no idea that it meant learning a new language, the language of horses. It's not at all just about getting on a horse and walking around. As a retired teacher, he has always loved being with children and animals. He's very pleasantly surprised that he is loving it!
Lindsey is a natural around horses. Her way is soft, gentle and very intuitive. Sure the techniques can be learned, but there is a distinct difference in someone who simply learns how to 'be' with horses and someone who resonates with them.
Lindsey's intuitiveness is almost palpable. We can practically see the telepathy that passes between her and her horses. Her teaching style is wonderfully accepting and warm. She is encouraging and has a great sense of humour.
We feel very blessed to be able to work with Lindsey and look forward to a longer, growing relationship with her and her horses." Pat and John H. (adult pleasure riders)
"Thank you SO MUCH for selling me a safe reliable horse and for him being exactly what you said. I think he will be wonderful to rebuild my confidence after all those crashes.... It is refreshing to have honesty for a change." Janet and James GS
