Information: Shania was imported from the United States, and once in Canada she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Shawna. Lindsey purchased Shania from Pleasure Valley where she has been the spirit horse of Pleasure Valley for many years.

Shania watches over the herd and is a very spiritual horse to be around. Many people have mentioned they think Shania can sense when you are upset and she will comfort you.

She is a fun horse to play with because she responds really well to cues because she is so attentive. She tries really hard to understand what you are saying.

Shania participated in summer camp for the first time in 2012 and she was a camp favourite. She is so willing and easy to both go and whoa. Shania also really loves swimming in the pond which was a big hit at camp!

Shania is an excellent horse for beginners and kids - she is very polite, very smooth, and very easy to work with and ride. She is easy to get going and very easy to stop. She is also very willing over the jumps.

Shania rode in her first Christmas parade in 2013 and was a total super star - she was perfectly calm and quiet... even when a runaway inflatable reindeer came chasing after her (a gust of wind blew an inflatable reindeer at Shania and she stood quietly for me)!

 

Shania has become a super star and is an amazing jumper. She competed in jumpers during summer 2013 and placed extremely well. She then started being part boarded at the end of 2013 and began showing in the 2014 season. She is a talented jumper and soars over the fences with ease.

 

Shania has jumped her way to many champion and reserve champion titles and medals during medal equitation classes. She is a favourite amongst riders that can appreciate her sensitive nature and willingness to please.

In 2015 she is already off to a big start and has been competing at the RCRA in the 2ft jumpers.
