We have 4 adorable Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Quigley, Lona, Molly and Eevee are all red and white Corgis. They are our family dogs and very well socialized and loved.
Our dogs are not show dogs and are not just breeding dogs. They are part of the family and live in the house with us. They each have their own bed in our bedroom and are spoiled with all the delights of a loved family pet. They have regular visits to the vet and groomers. They always are getting new toys and always have their favourite chewsies.
All of our dogs have been vet examined and have excellent hips, eyes, and overall health. Quigley (our breeding male) completed the hip x-ray tests and was evaluated as 'good.'
When our dogs have puppies, they live in the house and are let outside for play and bathroom breaks. They are given toys, lots of cuddles, and are very well socialized and loved.
We only breed our females once a year so they don't get over bred. Molly had her first litter of pups on May 8, 2014. Lona had her first litter of pups November 24, 2014. Molly and Lona had their 2nd litter of pups in spring of 2015.
Quigley is our male Corgi from Michigan and is very smart and athletic. He is very trainable and knows many tricks. He can easily be trained and has an excellent play drive and 'work' ethic. He isn't interested in many treats and won't touch milk bones. He is mostly interested in play and attention. He will play fetch for a long time and loves to chase James on the atv. He loves to do agility and will jump a course of horse jumps as well as go up on the pedestal and table on cue. He understands many things and cues. I've often thought he could be a dog for the movies because of his looks and trainability. He responds to verbal cues and hand signals. Quigely also loves to swim - any chance he gets he is into the water, playing with waves or streams, and going for a relaxing swim.
He is a fluffy Corgi - and is a stunning dog that everyone typically comments how beautiful he is. Typically fluffy Corgis are shunned in the Pembroke community because they are not a breed standard and is a controversial topic, however they are beautiful and many people prefer their looks to a short hair Corgi. The fluffy gene is a recessive one. Chances are if you purchase a pup from us that it will be a 'normal' short hair Corgi.
Quigley is a giant suck and loves being near people - he doesn't like being left alone and he enjoys being snuggled like a teddy bear - which is a good thing because he is very fluffy.
Lona is from Pennsylvania and has been a complete baby from the beginning. She cried most of the way home from Pennsylvania and has continued to be our little princess (Lona is a Welsh name that means princess). She is a talkative dog and lets you know what she wants - she doesn't bark for no reason, but she'll give you a 'woof' in the morning to demand morning cuddles, or if she wants on the bed she'll give gentle repetitive 'woofs' to make sure you know. She runs to 'her humans' for consolation on anything scary or unsual, but she is also very brave and willing to try new things and explore.
She is a very clever dog and is at the bottom of the pecking order with our 3 dogs. We've seen her be very sneaky with the other dogs - if she wants something they have she'll entice them with a different toy and when they drop what she wants she'll run and snatch it.
Lona is the fastest and most athletic of our dogs. She can zip way ahead of the other dogs when chasing the atv or playing in the backyard. She also learns very quickly - patience goes along way with her, but it doesn't take many tries for her to understand. She is the type of dog that sometimes gets overwhelmed with training and tries to sit in your lap for comfort or hide - once she realizes that she can do what you ask she gladly takes part in any requests. She is the only dog of ours that doesn't like swimming - she doesn't like to go near the water, and definitely tries to run away at bath time. Although the last couple times near water she has gone swimming (without any persuasion) so perhaps she is warming up to the water. She has the most unique and entertaining personality of our dogs.
Lona would not be happy as an apartment dog unless she was getting long and frequent walks. She loves to run and being active is something she really enjoys and craves.
Molly is also from Pennsylvania. She has an adorable face that just sucks you in for cuddles, you can't resist her. Molly adores people and attention - she will run over to anyone and immediately flop to her back so you can rub her belly. She is the most snuggly of our dogs. You can tuck her in bed with you and she won't move an inch, she gladly sucks up all the cuddles you have to offer. She'll even stay tucked in bed and sleep in if you let her.
Molly likes to play and bounce about, but she isn't as active as our other two dogs. She enjoys playing fetch and has learnt a few tricks. She is a monster for food and will inhale anything - banana, blueberries, peas, etc. She also enjoys taking toys from around the house and stuffing them in the food dish to try and hide any kibble from the other dogs. Occasionally we have found a 'chewsie' in the pocket of a coat or pair of pants left on the floor - we're pretty sure Molly is a culprit.
Molly is the boss of the dogs and controls the food - they have an auto filling dog food bowl that never runs out, but she still feels the need to manage it. She is also the most skittish of all our dogs. She is the first to run away of a scary looking object, loud noise, and when the other dogs figured out how to jump the fence during winter when the snow was piled high, Molly was too scared to try.
Molly could be happy as an apartment dog because she mostly wants to snuggle, however she does enjoy sun bathing in the backyard.
This is our newest addition to our family. Eevee is from Illinois! We went all that way to get her because she is an adorable fluffy! Once she is old enough to breed we will be able to have fluffy puppies for sale - a lot of people say they want a dog that looks like Quigley. Once Eevee is breeding we will be able to sell fluffy puppies like Eevee and Quigley.
Eevee didn't take long to become the boss of the pack. She is very bossy but also very playful. Her and Quigley get along extremely well and play during most of the day - they wrestle, chase each other, tug of war, or play with other toys. She seems to be incredibly clever and very trainable. Her birthday is June 23rd 2015 so she is still a young pup with lots to learn and play. She won't be having any pups until 2017. Eevee's pups will be on a different contract once she is breeding.

We ended up having an accidental litter in winter of 2015/2016 - the girls were supposed to have a break from breeding, but Quigley climbed an 8ft high fence while they were outside in separate pens to get to the girls. He was determined. Both Molly and Lona ended up pregnant so we had puppies born December 14th to Molly and December 15th to Lona. These puppies will be ready to go mid February 2016.
We will be consulting with our vet about their next breeding. Likely Molly will breed in spring of 2016, and Lona will breed in fall of 2016.
All puppies are sold for the winter 2015/2016 litter. There is a waiting list for the next litter.

Our Corgis are $1000. A $100 deposit is required to secure your spot on the waiting list. If you would like your corgi pup to have a tail doc then there is an additional $100 fee.
You can pay with cash, cheque or etransfer. You can also pay via Paypal for an additional fee because Paypal takes a percentage. All funds to need to clear in our bank before a pup can leave (unless you bring cash at time of pick up).
You get to choose your own pup. Choice is determined based on the waiting list order. We will do our best to tell you about the pups personality and colour. The pups do change colour and became more red (like their parents) as they become adults.
All of our dogs are fairly active. We recommend considering a Corgi provided you will have time & space to take them for long active walks and free running occasionally in parks. Corgi's are smart dogs and need to be kept busy - we always make sure our dogs have toys to play with and bones to chew.
